Donating to Rescue Bank

Donating to animal rescue is one of the most satisfying ways to contribute to your community.

Donating through Rescue BankSM is the most efficient.

  • We serve more than 70 small rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption groups with pet food, supplies, and grants for spay/neuter and critical care veterinary services.
  • Our food program leverages donations from grocers, distributors and manufacturers so well that every dollar donated delivers more than $10 of pet food to a very grateful rescue. We operate warehouses in Houston and Baton Rouge, and are expanding to other cities around the country.
  • As an all-volunteer organization, our administrative expenses are less than 2% of total donations.

Your donation helps groups that heal abused and injured pets, reunite lost pets with their owners, and increase adoption rates at large community shelters. These smaller groups lack the visibility and “name brand” recognition of the large groups, but their network of fosters and volunteers form the backbone of the community’s animal welfare efforts. Donations they receive through Rescue BankSM help them focus on their passion- animal rescue and adoption.
